Karen deals with a broad range of commercial matters including commercial leases and business transfer projects.

Karen trained with a large regional firm and qualified as a solicitor in 2009.  She gained a broad range of experience during her training contract including property law, litigation and insolvency.  Upon qualification Karen gained specialist knowledge in commercial law, particularly intellectual property rights such as copyright, trade marks and data base rights.

Karen has recently worked as an in house legal adviser for an international software company.  She has gained a lot of hands on experience in drafting and negotiating commercial licences.

From working in industry Karen has excellent, first hand experience in understanding what a client needs from their legal advisers.  She is friendly and approachable and is eager to discuss your business needs.
