HIPs no longer hip

From 21 May 2010 the duty of the seller to provide a Home Information Pack has been suspended pending legislation to abolish it completely.

The suspension means that homes marketed for sale on or after this date will no longer require a Home Information Pack. However, an Energy Performance Certificate is still required to have been commissioned before a property can be marketed.
