James (Jim) Bedford joined Gard and Co. in 1989. Jim has acquired broad experience in the areas of civil and criminal litigation. He has undertaken personal injury work for in excess of 15 years and now specialises exclusively in this area, acting for claimants.

Jim is a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives, a member of the Law Society Personal Injury Accreditation scheme and of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.

Jim has extensive experience in all areas of personal injury work for adults and children, from minor to catastrophic injury. He handles claims involving workplace accidents; industrial diseases; road traffic accidents (whether vehicle, motorcycle, cycle or pedestrian related); highway tripping accidents; occupier liability accidents; sporting injuries; assault related injuries and holiday accidents. He has also advised in rail, aviation and marine related incidents.

Jim is committed to achieving the very best outcome for his clients and in doing so has pursued cases through the Appeal Courts and sought judicial review where necessary.
