A home information pack (HIP) is a document containing important information about the property to be sold that both buyers and sellers need to know.
As from 6th April 2009 a completed home information pack (HIP) including a property information questionnaire (PIQ) must be available from the first day a residential property in England & Wales is put on the market for sale.
