Amy is a solicitor in the Wills & Probate department at Gard & Co.
Born and raised in Plymouth, Amy attended the University of Plymouth obtaining a 2:1 LLB (Hons) degree in Law. After graduating in 2011, she began working as an Administrative Assistant before progressing with the firm as an Assistant Cashier in our accounts department. In 2013, Amy moved on to become a Conveyancing Assistant assisting one of the Partners in our busy Conveyancing department. During this time, she undertook the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Bristol on a part time basis.
During her Training Contract Amy gained more familiarity with Conveyancing and expanded her skills developing a deeper knowledge of Wills & Probate, Personal Injury and Litigation. Since qualifying as a solicitor she has joined the Wills & Probate department.
Amy is passionate about all things local and was recently invited to her secondary school to give a careers talk to aspiring students who want to enter into the legal profession. Outside of work Amy is a keen bargain hunter and enjoys travel.
