St Luke’s Hospice Will Month May 2021

Gard & Co has supported St Luke’s Hospice for many years and this May will be partnering with them during their Make a Will Month.

We will be drafting wills for clients and inviting them to make a donation to St Luke’s in place of our usual fee.

St Luke’s is an independent charity who care for terminally ill adults across the city and also offer support to their families. The charity normally raises £7.8m each year through fundraising donations but the pandemic has had a severe impact on them financially, making it more important than ever to support them.

If you do not have a will, this is an ideal opportunity to put your affairs in order whilst supporting the hospice’s patients and their families.

Similarly, if you have a will this may be a great time to review it.  If you’ve bought a home, got married, had children, gone through a divorce or become a grandparent, chances are your will needs updating to reflect your current circumstances.

Robert Butler, Partner and Head of our Wills & Probate department, said: “Gard & Co has supported St. Luke’s for many years, but they need help through this scheme more than ever this year.  We encourage people to put their affairs in order this May with the benefit of knowing they have helped St Luke’s provide expert compassionate care to future generations of local families when they need it most.”

Bookings are being taken now but are limited. Appointments may be held in person, by phone or video call depending on the circumstances at the time and following the latest Government guidance.

If you’d like to book an appointment, please contact Robert, Jane, Glenn, Amy or Katie on 01752 668246 or send an email.
