Claire is a Senior Consultant Solicitor in the Family Law department and joined Gard and Co in January 2023.
She qualified as a Solicitor in 2007 and has exclusively practised family law for over 16 years, dealing with a full range of family matters including divorce; finances; private and public children; cohabitation; pre/post nuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements. A member of Resolution, Claire will always strive to achieve results for her clients in the least contentious manner, appreciating the stress that comes with relationship breakdowns.
Claire has a background in public children law, during which time she was a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel, representing children through their Guardians. She retains a particular interest in private children cases and has extensive experience in dealing with complex issues relating to children.
Claire is listed as a Leading Lawyer by Wiselaw.
Outside of work, Claire enjoys spending time with her family and walking their Labradors. She likes watching rugby and motor racing and enjoys reading. Claire also volunteers as the Chair of Governors at the local village school, a role she has undertaken for over four years, and is the school’s safeguarding governor.
