Sean is an associate solicitor in the Family Law Department. He joined Gard & Co. in March 2020 and qualified as a solicitor in March 2024, becoming an associate in 2026.

After obtaining a law degree (with honours) from the University of Lincoln in 2019, Sean started his time at Gard & Co as a legal assistant. While assisting a partner with their busy case load, he quickly showed his competence and skill for family law and earned a training contract. Alongside working at Gard & Co., he also completed the legal practice course as a master’s degree part time, finishing the same in June 2023.

Sean has chosen to specialise in family law and has focused the majority of his training in this area.

Sean now has a busy case load of his own which covers all aspects of family law to include divorce and matrimonial finances, for which he has a particular affinity, as well as private children law, disputes between unmarried couples (TOLATA), and injunction proceedings (applications for Non-Molestation Orders & Occupation Orders).

Sean strives to achieve the best result for all of his clients and regularly attends Court to advocate on their behalf.

Outside of work, Sean enjoys reading, cooking, and walking his family dog.
